John Brennan is a Philadelphia area based guitarist and singer. His music is rooted in the Blues, and he plays a variety of other genres including Rock, Country, Soul, and Folk but finds room to incorporate the Blues in each genre.
His musical influences range early blues artists such as Muddy Waters, Elmore James, and Robert Johnson to the more recent Blues-Rock artists including The Black Keys and Gary Clark, Jr. He also cites Classic Rock bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers and Creedence Clearwater Revivial as influences. Additional influences include Country-Rock and Rockabilly artists such as Chris Stapleton, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Carl Perkins.
